ReplyDeleteI don't know where I got this from but, when I was young I got it into my head that you must say the word RABBITS on the first of every month to bring yourself good luck for the month. Totally nonsensical I know.
To this day, on my birthday, my family goes out of their way to YELL "RABBITS!!" to me on the phone.

(Thanks for making our month something special- it always gets lost in the Mother's Day shuffle since I have a mom, a mom-in-law and a step-mom-in-law to celebrate each May, not to mention a SIL's birthday on the 8th, parent's anniversary on the 6th and a niece's b-day on the 17th. Whew!)
