NOTD

For my NOTD I had a great idea to do a black base and then use one of my Nfu Oh holos for my koni stamp color. I envisioned the results much better than this turned out. I think it could have just been the image that I picked out, I don't know. I'm not unhappy with it, I'm just not jumping for joy over it either.

I used my fav. black polish, China Glaze - Liquid Leather and Nfu Oh #66 and Konad plate # M64.

Left blurry to try and show the holo effect.

  4. I'm sorry that it disappointed you, Brooke.

It reminds me of that "life-changing" Konad that Scrangie did with similar colors, but a different image.

Maybe trying another pattern will meet your expectations?

I know how it feels- with all the work that goes into "Koni's" it's a bit of a letdown when they don't look exactly like we envisioned they would look. :(

Keep up the good work- you sure inspire me!

  7. Some day I have to do my own holo Konad nails. I'm thinking of ordering some holographic nail art polishes, but I'm not sure if it's worth it.. Does the holo show?

  8. I think it looks well, especially the holo catching the light.

  14. I love it! It turned out great, but I think the 'holo-ness' (is that a word?!) isn't as obvious because the color is not continuous, it's just in small areas...if that makes sense!

  16. Hi, I'm sorry it did not turn out the way you imagine it... but thank you also because I have the exact plate and when I saw this Koni I feel like doing it... not with the same polishes coz it's not available here but the principle on how you do it.
