Today is the last day for you to enter in the Konad giveaway and the nail art contest. I plan on announcing a winner of the Nail Art Contest on Monday, that will give me the weekend to really look at all my entries and pick a winner that I can be proud of!
The winner of the Konad will be announced on Saturday!! I'm so pleased with how many entries I have had for this! It went so well that I just might have another Konad giveaway in another month or so!
I also wanted to thank all of you who took the time to enter the Nail Art Contest! I really wasn't expecting as many entries as I got, so it was really nice of you all. I feel so LOVED, of course there is a big basket of goodies at stake, but I'm sure that has NOTHING to do with it, right? lol Really, thanks for all who made the time and put in the effort into your nail art entries.
it was fun. i enjoy this blog, it gives me an idea how some color looks like because i find nail polish show up different from what i think it will look like when i buy it! and i get a sense of what to look for when i go states shopping (i live in Canada, so we don't have all those brands here)
ReplyDeleteI do have a question though, do you have a good solution for nails getting stained by dark nail polish? I put on base coat but my nails still get stained. Thanks!

I have to admit, I've never really done much nail art before, but this contest just seemed so open and fun that it was impossible to resist. ;)

ReplyDeleteAs far as what I use for a base coat, I use Seche, and I really haven't noticed any problems with my nails staining. What brand are you currently using? I have heard that Barielle Camoflauge is great to help keep your nails from turning yellow. I have also seen nail whiteners and brighteners for sale at Sallys. I however have not tried either one.
